Welcome to the Lifetime Home Project!

The Project’s overall mission is to promote comfortable, safe, long-term living at home.  It works toward this goal by advancing the understanding and use of:

• Accessible and universal design techniques for home construction and remodeling
• Innovative home telehealth products and practices
• Flexible living options and local practices that promote them

The Project was established in 2006.  It’s located and active in the Minneapolis/ St. Paul metropolitan area and Greater Minnesota.  It's also involved with efforts in other locations around the U.S.

A major Project activity involves providing education and training, so this website has a range of useful resources for individuals and families, industry professionals, students and educators - check them out!
